Christmas Greetings

Wow, another year has come and gone, they seem to get faster and faster each year. We had a great ski season. I hope you had a chance to go down with friends and family and enjoy the beauty of the Snowy Mountains and the place we all love so much called Telemark. There is a real sense of second home when you step into the lodge and throw a match onto the preset fire and it roars into life.

Telemark 1 went through a renovation pre-ski season. The renovation entailed the bathroom in T1 and relocation of the sauna into the woodshed. The brief was to create a space that has more showers and toilets and is a space that people that have less mobility could easily use, whilst still retaining a Scandinavian look and feel that complements the rest of the lodge. The overall feedback has been great, and it has significantly improved the livability of T1 for now and into the future.

We are blessed to have a great club with fantastic members and volunteers that donate a lot of their time to make the club what it is today. I hope you get a chance to enjoy the mountains in the coming period, both winter and summer.
